Desire.

For the one who is desiring to burn brighter🕯️

I desire..

I desire your fire,  Lord I lift You higher.  

I desire Your flame. 
With the flick of a lighter, the candle burns bright and all the darkness fades away.  

The darkness must give way, it has no power. 
For the grave has been overcome by my living Savior. 

I will sing His praise, I will glorify His name!  
And yes, everything is great. 
I have been saved.  

Yet, I find my candle still flickers from the weariness and weight the world brings around me.  

I don't want to keep relighting my candle. 
Sustain me, Lord, fan my flame and let my light shine bright for you.  

All of you.  
Every single thing. 
Every detail that involves You.  

For You are my fire, my heart's one desire. 
I pray my flame doesn't fade away.  

Amen.
