Pain Remembers Hope
I know the one person I can bring my pain to,
So I encourage you to bring it to Him too.
For everything you have ever felt,
He has felt too.
You see, if anyone has ever felt
The sting of jealousy,
The rage of gossip,
The stab of rejection,
The cut of unbelief,
And yes, Drake has been a victim of fake love, too.

But have you ever heard of a man named Jesus before?
King Jesus, my Lord?
King Jesus, who was crucified for the sins you bore.
The faults you made.
Your shame and mistakes.
He's held them all,
He carried the weight of them all on the cross.
—
The blood He spilled was supposed to be mine.
The sweat from His head, the grief of it all supposed to be yours.
—
Yet God made a way when the only way was death,
Too painful for us to go through.
-
Death isn't what He chose for you.
Life is what He's called you to.
Hope is what He's bringing you to.
Peace is what He's giving you.
Love is what He's offering you.

Gently, He calls out to you,
Gently, His mighty hand guides you.
-
Trust is what you need to do.
Trust is what He asks of you.
Because He knows the best of you.
Because He knows what's best for you.
Because He is the best for you.
Because He says He loves you.

Yes, you are loved.
God wants you.
God loves you.
-
Gently, He calls out to you,
Gently, his mighty hand guides you.
Answer His call, take His mighty hand...
Today.
